1) It is God’s will to heal the sick, and healing and miracles are one way of gathering multitudes to hear the gospel and be saved (v.13, 15).
2) The LDC needs to always be connected to God through prayer and the Word (v.16).

Devotion 2 of 2: Prov 5
V.8 says to stay away from an immoral woman and to not go near the door of her house. One good rule to follow is to never be alone with a woman (or a man) in her/his (or your) apartment or house! This rule will save us from many temptations and tragedies! In Joseph’s case, he wasn’t able to follow this rule because he had to be at Potiphar’s house because that was his workplace. But that created the situation in which Potiphar’s wife was able to try to seduce him while her husband was out working! This led to Joseph being imprisoned, so AMAP, we should keep this rule!
