Devotion 1 of 2: 2 Chron 7
1) God’s promise was that if we humble ourselves, seek his face and turn from our sins, he would hear from heaven, forgive our sins and heal our land (v.14)! God’s warning was that if we forsook him, he would cast us out of the land and cast the temple out of his sight (v.20)!
2) If the church repents and seeks God, he will hear and help us possess and keep the Promised Land of revival and endtime glory. But if we forsake him, we will not enter the LDR and our church will be persecuted and maybe destroyed by AC’s persecution.

Devotion 2 of 2: 2 Chron 8
Solomon’s reign continued the Golden Age of Israel that began under David. Solomon continued the offerings, kept the feasts and followed David’s commands concerning the worship ministry of the Levites (v.12-15). But we can see the beginning of his downfall in v.11, when he puts his wife, the daughter of Pharaoh, in a house he built for her and not in David’s house because it was near the Ark and was holy (v.11), meaning she was not holy!
