Devotion 1 of 2: Ezek 19
We see the tragic ending of the last kings (lion cubs) of Judah in chapter 19. They ended tragically because of their sins. One example is the 1st cub in v.3, who was King Jehoahaz. He only ruled 3 months (2 Kings 23:31-34) and was taken with hooks to Egypt (v.4), where he died! Let’s pray that our leaders in church and the nation will be godly people, leading in righteousness.

Devotion 2 of 2: Matt 19
1) Yes, like lying or deceiving to marry, DV, habit of committing heavy crimes, not coming home for long periods of time, not working (for the man), habit of gambling or alcohol or drugs, habit of creating large debts, etc. We should help men and women whose lives are being destroyed by their partners to break free and live a life honoring God.
2) Because his wealth was his god, and Jesus wanted to remove that idol and violation of the 1st 2 commandments from him so that he could have a relationship with God!
