Devotion 2 of 2: Jer 22
About King Coniah, Jeremiah prophesied that though he was the signet of God’s right hand, he would be plucked off and be given into the hand of Nebuchadnezzar (v.24-25). This is also prophetic of all of mankind, whom God created so we could live eternally in heaven as his children and as the bride of Christ! Yet, because many will choose to reject God and worship antichrist’s image instead, God will have to pluck them off and give them to the same fate that he ordained for Satan and antichrist, the lake of fire (Rev 14:9-11)
