b) God told Paul to keep evangelizing and no one would hurt him, so he continued ministering for 1.5 years (v.9-11).
2) Gallio drove them away, saying he didn’t want to judge their laws (v.14-17). So God fulfilled his promise and Paul wasn’t harmed!

Devotion 2 of 2: Jer 18
In v.11, God warned Judah that there would be disaster coming against them, but they did not listen and therefore suffered the consequences of destruction and captivity by Babylon! I believe God wants to warn the church that great persecution and killing is coming from antichrist, and they should prepare to overcome by seeking God’s plan of restoration and transformation into the glorious LDC! But if they reject God’s warning, many will suffer persecution and be martyred if they don’t worship the beast and take his mark! But many others will fall away from their faith and compromise to antichrist but will receive terrible suffering and judgment during the 2nd half of the tribulation!
