2) Joab killed him (v.14).
3) Ahimaaz reported that David’s army won, but he didn’t know about Absalom’s fate (v.28-29).
4) A Cushite reported that Absalom died (v.32).

Devotion 2 of 3: 2 Sam 19

1) I agree because that advice saved many in Israel from leaving David (v.8).
2) I think Mephibosheth was telling the truth because when David offered to return half of his land to him, he replied to let Ziba have it all (v.30).
3) David made a decision to give Ziba Mephibosheth’s land after hearing only Ziba’s side of the story. But after hearing Mephibosheth’s side, he got a fuller and truer picture of the situation. So we should not make a quick judgment after hearing only one side of an argument. We should listen to both sides before making a judgment.

Devotion 3 of 3: 2 Sam 20

1) David locked them in seclusion and supported them but did not have physical relationship with them again (v.3). He did that because Absalom had slept with them.
2) Joab killed Amasa because David wanted to replace Joab with Amasa as commander-in-chief (19:13).
3) She had Sheba killed and threw his head over the wall to Joab (v.22). I agree with what she did because through it, she saved her city from destruction.
