Devotion 1 of 2: Amos 4
This chapter reveals N. Israel’s wicked state, which applies in the LD to believers who apostatize. V.1 describes their rich women as “cows of Bashan,” who oppress the poor and disrespect their husbands! V.2-3 say they would be taken captive with fishhooks! Assyria did defeat Israel and led them captive with fishhooks in mouths!
The Lord punished N. Israel with famine (v.6), partial drought (v.7-8), Egypt’s plagues (v.9-10), and Sodom’s destruction (v.11), but they didn’t repent! In the LD, despite the signs of the 2 witnesses in Rev 11:5-6, lukewarm believers will not leave AC and return to Jesus!

本章は、北イスラエルの邪悪な状態を明らかにしている。これは終末に、背教する信者たちにも当てはまる。1節では、彼らの裕福な妻たちが「バシャンの雌牛」と描写されており、彼女たちは貧しい者を虐げ、夫を軽んじている。2-3節に、彼女たちはつり針で捕えられて引かれていくとある。実際にアッシリアはイスラエルを破り、口につり針をかけて連れ去ったのである。

Devotion 2 of 2: John 16
This chapter talks about the Holy Spirit and His ministry. V.13 says the Holy Spirit will guide us into all truth! This is how restoration happens! Truth is restored, and the church is revived and transformed! In 1517, it was “the just shall live by faith (not by church traditions)”; in 1906, it was “Jesus will baptize with the Spirit and power!”
V.13b says, “He will tell you things to come.” God has spoken about the endtime and revival in His Word, and the Holy Spirit wants to reveal that to us! Let’s seek the Holy Spirit to lead us into all truth and tell us things to come!

本章は聖霊とその働きについて語っている。13節によると、聖霊はあらゆる真理に導いてくださるとされる。まさにこれによって回復が起こるのである。真理が回復され、教会は復興し、変革される。1517年には「義人は信仰によって生きる（教会の伝統によってではない）」であり、1906年には「イエスは聖霊と力をもってバプテスマを授けられる！」であった。
13節後半には「これから起こる事柄を告げる」とある。神は御言葉の中で終末とリバイバルについて語っておられ、聖霊はそれを啓示したいと望んでおられる。私たちをあらゆる真理に導き、これから起こる事柄を告げてくださるよう、聖霊を求めよう。
