Devotion 1 of 2: Mark 1, Matt 17

1) Because Jesus said so. (Matt 17:10-13)
2) Because Mal 4:5 says Elijah will come before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the Lord, which would be the tribulation of the last days! So Elijah will come again in the endtime!
3) As John prepared the way for Jesus’ 1st coming (v.2-3), the LDC will prepare the way for Jesus’ 2nd coming! One way will be through a revival of praise and worship, which is already happening! (Ps 68:3-4)

4) 1. Jesus drove out an unclean spirit from a man in the synagogue, causing his fame to spread throughout the region (v.23-28). The John 14:12 Church will have authority to cast out spirits, causing many in the area to hear about
2. The whole city of Capernaum heard about Jesus’ miracles and brought their sick friends and gathered to where Jesus was to receive healing, resulting in many being healed! John 14:12 Churches will also see almost the whole town come to Sunday services, bringing many sick for healing, and when they are healed, more and more people will believe and join the church!

2) マラ4:5には、エリヤは主の大いなる恐ろしい日（世の終わりの艱難時代）が来る前に来ると書いてあるからです！だから、エリヤは終末の時代に再び来るのです!
3) ヨハネがイエスの初臨のために道を整えたように（2-3節）、LDCはイエスの再臨のために道を整えるでしょう。その一つの方法は、すでに起こっている賛美と礼拝のリバイバルによってです。(詩編68:3-4)

Devotion 2 of 2: Ps 120

This psalm is about our tongue, which causes many problems. The descriptions of the tongue in this psalm are: lying lips, deceitful tongue (v.2), false tongue (v.3), and warring speech (v.7). This is the same message as James 3! How can we be delivered from the evils of our tongue? V.1 gives a big help! When we are distressed at our words, repent of our sins and cry out to God, he will enable us to grow and overcome our negative speaking! PTL! Also, speaking in tongues and worship are great weapons to cleanse our mouths!
