Devotion 1 of 1: 1 Sam 8
Samuel made his sons judges (v.1), but they did not walk in his ways, sought dishonest gain, took bribes and perverted justice (v.3)! Many times a revival is blessed and used mightily by God, but the next generations do not live up to the faith and vision of the founders, and soon the revival fire is quenched, and the movement becomes a mad-centered denomination, similar to what Saul was!
