Devotion 1 of 2: Ruth 1

1) Jesus. 2) Church. 3) Israel. 4) Her country, Moab; her people, the Moabites; and her god! But she gained Israel, the Jews, and Yahweh, the true God! (v.16)
5) Feast of Firstfruits (which was right after Passover and Unleavened Bread), which offered prayer to God for a rich harvest of Barley and Wheat that the Jews were about to begin (Lev 23:10).

Devotion 2 of 2: Ruth 2

1) Boaz was probably the 2nd younger brother of Elimelech because he had the right to redeem Naomi, but he had an older brother who was closer to Elimelech (4:3-10).
2) They were poor.
3) Ruth learned about Boaz from Naomi. The church learns about Jesus and God through the Jewish nation and the Bible they wrote through the inspiration of the Holy Spirit.
4) The Feast of Pentecost, which was the celebration of the barley and wheat harvests (Ex 23:16)

ルツ2章の答え･･ 1) ボアズはナオミを贖う権利を持っていたので、エリメレクの2番目の弟だったのでしょうが、彼よりエリメレクに近い兄がいました（4：3-10）。
2) 彼らは貧しかった。
3) ルツはナオミからボアズのことを知った。教会はユダヤ民族と彼らが聖霊の霊感によって書いた聖書を通してイエスと神について学んでいるのです。
4) 大麦と小麦の収穫を祝うペンテコステの祭り（出23:16)
