Devotion 1 of 2: Ps 115
I can see a clear difference in values between those who worship idols and those who worship Jehovah God. Idol worshipers want a visible god, who is close by, whom they can touch, who gives them a feeling that he’s real and sees their situation and needs, and therefore will answer their prayers. They need that feeling because he’s not real and doesn’t talk to them and doesn’t really meet their needs! By contrast, Jehovah God is in heaven and therefore is invisible, far away, whom we cannot touch! So how can we know that he’s real? By his answering our prayers and meeting our needs! Thank you, Lord, for doing that!
Devotion 2 of 2: Rev 13
1) Antichrist. 2) He may suffer an attack or accident and die, but come back to life again, causing the world to be amazed and follow him! But this will be him imitating Jesus’ resurrection in order to deceive people! 3) He will kill Christians after the LDC (2 witnesses) preach the gospel and spread revival all over the world for 3.5 years, the 1st half of the tribulation (Trib1)! 4) The False Prophet. 5) Dan 3 and 1 Sam 17. Dan 3: Nebuchadnezzar’s image was 60 cubit tall and 6 cubits wide and 6 instruments played music to signal people to worship the image. 1 Sam 17: Goliath was 6 cubits and a span tall, his spear head weighed 600 shekels, and he had a total of 6 weapons and pieces of armor.
