Devotion 1 of 2: John 20

V.9 says, (They still did not understand from Scripture that Jesus had to rise from the dead.). Even the closest people to Jesus, his disciples, didn’t know that Jesus would die and then resurrect. He had told them several times that that was what he would do, but their preconceived notions about the Messiah made them blind and deaf, so they couldn’t hear what Jesus was saying. This can happen to us, too. I believe God has told us about his plans to restore the church and bring about a great endtime revival through the Word, but because we have different teachings about a great falling away and a pre-trib rapture, most Christians cannot understand restoration and revival! So let’s thoroughly learn RRV and share it with many Christians as God leads!

Devotion 2 of 2: Ps 98

This psalm is an eruption of joy and exuberance to the Lord for the marvelous things he has done (v.1)! God restored free praise and worship to the church through the 1948 Latter Rain Revival. Church music and worship style have changed dramatically since then, with free praise and singing joyful and powerful songs repeatedly becoming the norm. I believe this praise revival is preparing the way for the 2nd coming of Christ on the clouds as prophesied in Ps 68:4. V.9 also agrees with this, as it says, “…let them sing before the Lord, for he comes to judge the earth.”
