Devotion 1 of 1: Ps 90
Verse 4 says 1000 years in God’s sight are like a day! This is what 2 Pet 3:8 says in the NT! When we examine the 7 days of creation, we see it is a summary of the 7000 years of history! Here are 2 days of human history:
Day 1: Creation of light. Separation of light and darkness = 0 – 1000: Creation of universe, man, the Fall, man kicked out of Eden, Cain kills Abel, etc.
Day 7: God rested = 2000 – 3000: Millennial Kingdom when Jesus reigns over the earth for 1000 years.
