Devotion 1 of 1: Judg 18
Dan did some sinful acts in this chapter, two of which were: 1) Steal the Levite priest, Jonathan (v.30), and his idols, ephod and household gods from Micah (v.18-20) and 2) set up Jonathan as priest and the idol at their city, Dan, which they rebuilt from Laish, a peaceful city that they attacked and destroyed, killing all its people (v.27-28). I think Dan was left out of Israel’s 12 tribes in Rev 7 because of their sinful actions in this chapter. Lesson: Dan is a picture of the falling away that will happen among Christians in the end time!
