Devotion 1 of 1: 2 Tim 1
The 3 characteristics of the Holy Spirit are: power, love and self-discipline. They are connected to 1 Cor 12, 13 and 14 because 1 Cor 12 contains the 9 gifts of the Spirit, which reveal the power of the Spirit; 1 Cor 13 is the love chapter of the Bible, which fits in with the love of the Spirit; and 1 Cor 14 teaches about the need for order in the church service while using the gifts of the Spirit, which have to do with self-discipline.
