Devotion 1 of 2: Col 1
1) That the Father created all things through him (v.16). 2) That all things were created for him (v.16). 3) That all things hold together, or are maintained, in him (v.17). In other words, the whole universe was made by and for Jesus and he maintains all creation! What astounding facts these are!

Devotion 2 of 2: Isa 54
Verse 3 says, “Your descendants will possess nations.” The LDC will be like Moses and save the people of their nation from the Pharaoh, or antichrist and Satan, of their country! Also, v.7 says that God abandoned the woman for a brief moment, but will bring her back with deep compassion! This is speaking of God abandoning the church during the Dark Ages because she esteemed her traditions more than God’s Word! But in the end, God’s plan is to restore the church because of his love for her!
