One problem in the early church was that the Christian Jews had a hard time accepting Gentile believers. The reason for that was because of their strict upbringing in Judaism, they thought the Law should be obeyed, so they thought they shouldn’t mingle with Gentiles.

I think Hezekiah was naïve and lacked wisdom by showing the Babylonians all his treasures. And I think he thought more about himself than his children and his kingdom when he thought it was okay that Babylon would take away Judah’s treasures and some of his children and turn them into eunuchs because it wouldn’t be in his lifetime!
