Devotion 1 of 2: Ps 61
This psalm is a prayer of David to God for protection from his enemies (v.3). At times David felt overwhelmed and desperately called out to God for shelter (v.2-3).
No doubt, we, too, will feel overwhelmed by AC when he persecutes those who haven’t worshiped his image! At those times, let’s recall this psalm and pray as David did in v.2b, “When my heart is overwhelmed; lead me to the rock that is higher than I.” Let’s cling to Jesus, the Rock of our Salvation because He’ll protect us through AC’s persecutions!

この詩篇は、敵からの保護を神に求めるダビデの祈りである（3節）。ダビデは時に圧倒され、保護を求めて必死に神に叫び求め（2–3節）、身を避ける場所を願った。
反キが自身の像を拝まない者を迫害するとき、私たちも間違いなく圧倒されるような思いになるであろう。そのようなときには、この詩篇を思い起こし、2節後半でダビデが祈ったように祈ろう。「私の心が衰え果てるとき、……どうか、私の及びがたいほど高い岩の上に、私を導いてください。」反キの迫害の時、イエスが守ってくださるゆえ、救いの岩である主にしがみつこう！
Devotion 2 of 2: Phil 1
Paul wrote this book while imprisoned in Rome. So, Paul is a model for the LDC, which will go through persecution and imprisonment by AC. Let’s look at 3 important keys to help us overcome persecution in the LD.
In chapter 1, Paul shows 3 ways to overcome persecution. 1) By understanding it works out for the furtherance of the gospel (v.12-18). 2) By realizing even if we are killed, it’s actually gain (v.19-26)! 3) By accepting we should not only believe in Christ but also suffer for His sake (v.27-30). Let’s overcome persecution like Paul did!

パウロはローマで捕らえられて監獄にいたときに本書を執筆した。ゆえに、パウロは反キによる迫害や投獄を経験する終末教会のモデルとなる。終わりの時代に迫害に打ち勝つための3つの重要な鍵を見ていこう。
第1章において、パウロは迫害に打ち勝つ3つの方法を示している。1）迫害が福音の前進に役立っていると理解すること（12–18節）。2）たとえ殺されたとしても、それはかえって益であると悟ること（19–26節）！ 3）キリストを信じることだけでなく、主のために苦しみを受けることも受容すること（27–30節）。パウロのように迫害に打ち勝とうではないか。
