Devotion 1 of 2: Ps 57
This psalm was written by David when he fled from Saul into a cave. It serves as a powerful source of encouragement to Christians for when they face AC’s persecutions.
While David cries out to God for mercy and refuge (v.1), he also makes confessions of faith, such as God will save him and reproach his enemy and cause him to fall into his own pit instead (v.3, 6).
In the end, David praises the Lord nations for His mercy (v.9-11). Let’s remember this psalm when we face AC!
Devotion 2 of 2: Eph 3
In this chapter Paul describes how God had called him to be a minister of the mystery of grace, the mystery of Christ, the mystery of the Gentiles also being saved (v.1-7). Paul was also called to preach that mystery among the Gentiles to make all understand that mystery, which was hidden before, but now being revealed (v.8-12)!
Like Paul, we, too, are being called by God to understand and proclaim the mystery of His endtime plan of revival for the world! It was hidden in the past, but is now being revealed! Let’s study and share it with many!
