Devotion 1 of 2: Prov 9
This chapter contrasts the wise woman (v.1-12), who, in endtime application, represents the LDC, and the foolish woman, who is a picture of the False Prophet and the Christians who apostatize and join her (v.13-18).
The wise woman sends out her maidens (v.3) and tries to lead people to wisdom, salvation and the knowledge of God (v.10). By contrast, the foolish woman lures those who lack understanding to follow her to death and hell (v.16-18). Let us gain true wisdom by understanding God’s plan for the endtime revival and the glorious church.

この章は、知恵を持って自分の家を建てる女(1-12節)と、愚かな女（13-18節）を比較している。終末への適用では、知恵の女は終末教会の描写であり、愚かな女は二世預言者、そして背教するクリスチャンたちの姿を現している。
知恵ある女は小娘たちを遣わし（3節）、人々を知恵と救い、そして神を知ることへ導こうとする（9-10節）。それとは対照的に、愚かな女は悟りのない者たちを誘惑し、自分に従わせて死とよみへ導く（16～18節）。終わりの日のリバイバルと栄光の教会についての神のご計画を理解し、真の知恵を得よう。
Devotion 2 of 2: 2 Cor 9
This chapter is about giving. V.11 says, “God will make you rich in every way so that you can always give freely. And your giving through us will make people give thanks to God.”
Let’s look at 2 points. 1st, God makes us rich so we can always give! I experienced this in my late years. I am not rich, but I am a lot richer than I have ever been, and it has allowed me to tithe and give to several causes!
2nd, our giving can be a testimony to God’s glory and inspire people so much that they give thanks to God!

この章は献げることについて語っている。11節には、「あなたがたは、あらゆる点で豊かになって、惜しみなく与えるようになり、それが私たちを通して、神への感謝を生み出すのです」とある。
ここで二つの点を見よう。第一に、神は私たちが惜しみなく与えるように、豊かにしてくださるということ。私は晩年になって、このことを経験している。裕福ではないが、これまでの中で最も豊かになり、その結果、大きな什一献金ができ、いくつかの教会に献げることができた。
第二に、私たちの献げることは神の栄光を証しするものとなり、多くの人に感動を与え、神に感謝をささげるように導くことができる。
