Devotion 1 of 2: Ps 32
V.3 says, “When I kept silent, my bones grew old through my groaning all the day long.” But v.5 says, “I acknowledged my sin to You, and my iniquity I have not hidden. I said, “I will confess my transgressions to the Lord,” and You forgave the iniquity of my sin. Selah”
When we keep silent about our sins, they poison our lives so that we groan through trials all day long! But when we confess our sins to God, He forgives us and preserves us from trouble (v.7). Let’s confess our sins to God!

Devotion 2 of 2: Rom 16
Let’s look at contrasting “believers.” V.1-2 introduces us to Phoebe, who is called a servant. Paul tells the Roman Christians to receive her in a manner worthy of the saints and to assist her in her ministry because she has helped many people and Paul, too.
The other “believers” are in v.17-18. They cause divisions and offenses, contrary to good teachings. Paul tells the Romans to avoid them because they don’t serve Jesus but rather their own belly, and they deceive people. Let’s follow Paul’s advice!
