Devotion 1 of 2: Deut 8
One benefit of Israel obeying God was they would enter and possess Canaan (v.1, 7-9). Church restoration teaches that as God restored Israel to Canaan, their Promised Land, so God is restoring the church into her Promised Land in the last days. Our Promised Land is the fulfillment of all of God’s promises in the Bible.

Devotion 2 of 2: Mark 8
One lesson is that the LDC will need to do v.35 and be willing to lose their life for Jesus in order to overcome antichrist’s threat to worship his image or be killed (Rev 13:15)! Another lesson is the infinite worth of the human soul that God has given to us! It is worth more than the whole world (v.36). Wow! If we realize this, we can never complain again that God hasn’t given us anything or didn’t do enough for us!
