Devotion 1 of 2: Ps 7
V.8-9 say, “The Lord shall judge the peoples; judge me, O Lord, according to my righteousness, and according to my integrity within me. Oh, let the wickedness of the wicked come to an end, but establish the just; for the righteous God tests the hearts and minds.”
Sometimes we feel frustration when we hear of crimes, wars and injustices that happen in the world. But as v.8-9 say, the Lord will judge the world, wickedness will come to an end and justice will be established. Let’s pray for it to come.

Devotion 2 of 2: Mark 7
In v.31-37, a deaf and speech-impaired man was brought to Jesus. Jesus touched the man’s tongue and ears and healed him. Immediately the man’s ears were opened and his tongue was loosened, and he began to speak! The people were astonished and shouted that Jesus had done all things well, causing the man to hear and speak!
I felt this story was a picture of what Jesus can do in JCC (Japanese Conversation Club)! Let’s pray for many international students (IS) to be “touched” by Jesus and learn to hear and speak the Japanese language well!
