Devotion 1 of 2: Num 19
V.1-10 deal with the red heifer, which was necessary as a sacrifice for the purification of priests. Scholars say that red heifers without defects are rare, but they have finally been bred and are now living in Israel.
Many Jews believe that having red heifers again means that priests can be purified as required in Num 19, the 3rd temple can be rebuilt, temple rituals by priests can be restarted, leading to Israel being spiritually restored to Jehovah! Christians believe the 3rd temple is needed because that’s where AC will declare himself god (2 Thes 2:4).

Devotion 2 of 2: Num 20
In this chapter, we see the episode of Israel complaining to Moses and Aaron again for the lack of water (v.2-3). God told Moses to speak to a rock and water would come out (v.8), but Moses was frustrated by the people’s constant complains and struck the rock twice instead! Despite Moses’ mistake, water did come out (v.10-11)!
But because Moses acted out of anger to the people, God declared that Moses would not enter the Promised Land (v.12)! To participate in our Promised Land of the LDR, we must develop patience and mature fully in Christ!

この章では、イスラエル人が水不足を訴えてモーセとアロンに再び不平を言う場面が描かれています（2-3節）。神はモーセに岩に話しかければ水が出ると告げましたが（8節）、モーセは民の絶え間ない不平に苛立ち、岩を二度も叩いてしまいました。モーセの間違いにもかかわらず、水は確かに出ました（10-11節）。
しかし、モーセが民への怒りから行動したため、神はモーセが約束の地に入ることを許さないと宣言しました（12節）。終末リバイバルという約束の地に入るためには、忍耐を養い、キリストにあって成熟することは欠かせてはならないことです。
