Devotion 1 of 2: Lev 19
This chapter contains various laws. One says in v.19, “You shall not let your livestock breed with another kind.” God meant for animals to breed within and produce only the same species, as Gen 1:24 says, “Let the earth bring forth the living creature according to its kind.”
The theory of evolution says that over eons, living creatures evolved into different species, so that the original amoeba eventually evolved into human beings. But inter-breeding shows that most hybrids have defects and can’t survive. Let’s believe the Bible.

この章には様々な律法が記されています。19節には「あなたの家畜を種類の異なった家畜と交わらせてはならない」とあります。創1:24 「地が、種類にしたがって、生き物を生ぜよ」にあるように、神は動物が同種間でのみ繁殖し、同じ種類の動物だけを生み出すことを意図しておられました。
進化論によれば、何億年もの歳月をかけて生物は様々な種へと進化し、最初のアメーバが最終的に人間へと進化しました。しかし、異種交配の結果、ほとんどの雑種には欠陥があり、生き残ることができないことが示されています。聖書を信じましょう。

Devotion 2 of 2: Acts 19
This chapter describes Paul’s ministry in Ephesus. God did amazing miracles through Paul, like healing by handkerchiefs that Paul prayed over. When placed on the sick, they brought healing from diseases and evil spirits (v.11-12)!
7 sons of Sceva imitated Paul and tried to cast out a demon, but the spirit beat them up! This caused many to believe in Jesus (v.13-18)! Endtime application: The false prophet will call fire from heaven, like Elijah (Rev 13:13), but the Elijah Church will heal, and many will believe!

この章では、パウロのエペソの宣教について述べています。神はパウロを通して驚くべき奇跡を行われました。例えば、パウロが祈りを捧げたハンカチを病人に当てると、病気や悪霊から癒されました（11-12節）。
魔よけ祈祷師スケワの7人の息子たちはパウロを真似て、悪霊を追い出そうとしましたが、悪霊に打ちのめされました。この出来事によって、多くの人がイエスを信じるようになりました（13-18節）。終末への応用：偽預言者はエリヤのように天から火を降らせますが（黙13:13）、終末のエリヤの教会はむしろ多くの病人を癒し、救いに導くでしょう！
