Devotion 1 of 2: Job 27
In v.5-6, Job strongly declares that he would never say his friends are right, that he would not let go of his integrity and righteousness, and that he would not reproach himself as long as he lived!
What Job is saying is understandable from the human perspective and from the natural viewpoint. But his problem was that he could not see what happens in heaven as we could see from chapters 1 and 2. Whenever we experience what we think is unjust and unfair, let’s remember the first 2 chapters of Job and trust God!

Devotion 2 of 2: Matt 23
In this chapter Jesus warns the scribes and Pharisees 7 times about their hypocrisy and sinful acts! This is one chapter before His discourse on the endtime, hinting that hypocrisy in religious leaders will occur then also.
Much criticism has erupted at the failures of charismatic leaders. One criticism is about their luxurious lifestyles, with many photos of grand mansions, private jets and luxury cars. Another criticism is about their fraudulent prophecies and miracles exposed by former colleagues. Let’s always seek God’s righteousness in our lives!
