Devotion 1 of 1: Matt 13
When Jesus spoke a parable (v.3-9), the disciples couldn’t understand right away (v.10), but when Jesus explained the meaning, they could understand (v.16-23). God uses parables in the Bible so that those who shouldn’t understand, don’t understand (v.13-15)!
But if we are sincere and are called by God, when we seek Him, God will reveal the meaning of the parables (v.11-12; 16-17). Let’s ask God to reveal His heart to us through the many parables of the Bible!

イエスがたとえ話を語られたとき（3-9節）、弟子たちはすぐには理解できませんでした（10節）。しかし、イエスが意味を説明されると、彼らは理解することができました（16-23節）。神は聖書の中でたとえ話を用いられます。それは、理解すべきでない者が理解できないようにするためです（13-15節）。
しかし、私たちが誠実であり、神に召され、神を求めるなら、神はたとえ話の意味を明らかにしてくださいます（11-12節、16-17節）。聖書の多くのたとえ話を通して、神の心を私たちに明らかにしてくださるように祈りましょう。
