Devotion 1 of 2: Zech 6
This chapter contains 2 pictures of the Millennium. The first is of 4 chariots and horses, colored red, black, white and dappled (v.2-3). They go to the north and south and walk to and fro throughout the earth (v.5-7). Those who went north gave rest to God’s Spirit in the north country (v.8). Rest will be the characteristic of the Millennium.
The 2nd picture is of crowning Joshua the High Priest (v.11). Joshua is a type of Jesus, the Branch, in this chapter (v.12). As the Branch, Jesus will branch out, build the temple, bear the glory, sit and rule and be a priest on His throne (v.12-13). This will take place during Jesus’ 1000-year reign on earth.
Let’s pray that Jesus will come soon and establish His kingdom for 1000 years on earth!

この章には、ハルマゲドンの戦いと千年王国を象徴する二つの場面があります。一つ目は、赤、黒、白、まだら毛の四頭の馬と戦車です（2-3節）。彼らは南北へ行き、地を駆け巡ります（5-7節）。北へ行く者は、北の地で神の怒りを静めます（8節）。ハルマゲドンの戦いで人類の罪に対する神の怒りが収まった後、千年王国に入ります。
二つ目は、大祭司ヨシュアに冠をかぶせる場面です（11節）。ヨシュアはこの章において若枝であるイエスの型です（12節）。若枝として、イエスは芽を出し、神殿を建て直し、尊厳を帯び、王座に着き、支配します（12-13節）。これは、イエスが地上で千年統治される間に起こるでしょう。
イエスが早く来られ、地上に千年王国を確立してくださるように祈りましょう。
Devotion 2 of 2: Rev 10
This chapter is about a little book that a mighty angel holds (v.1-2). The little book symbolizes the Bible, but even more, it really symbolizes the book of Revelation. John eats it, and it is bitter in his stomach but sweet in his mouth (v.8-11). This signifies the persecutions and blessings that Revelation prophesies the church will receive.
Let’s realize that trials and persecutions await the church in the last days. This is the only way we will grow and be conformed into Christ’s image, so it’s good for us! Strengthen us, O Lord, to overcome all hardships and be transformed to be more like Jesus!

この章は、強い御使いが持つ小さな巻物についてです（1-2節）。この小さな巻物は聖書を象徴していますが、それ以上に、黙示録を象徴していると思います。ヨハネはそれを食べます。それは彼の腹には苦いですが、口には甘いのです（8-11節）。これは、黙示録が教会に預言している迫害と祝福を象徴しています。
終わりの日に教会が試練と迫害を受けることを覚悟しましょう。これこそが、私たちが成長し、キリストの似姿へと変えられる唯一の道です。ですから、それは私たちにとって良いことです。主よ、私たちがすべての苦難を乗り越え、イエスに似た者へと変えられるよう、力づけてください。
