Devotion 1 of 2: Zech 1
Zechariah and Haggai prophesied to the Jews who returned from Babylon in 538 BC. They began rebuilding the temple (Ezra 3:8), but the enemy opposed them (Ezra 4:4). So, the 2 prophets inspired the people to continue the work (Ezra 5:1) until the temple was restored (Ezra 6:14)! This is a parable of God restoring the church!
Zech 1:2 says that God was angry with the previous generation. Why? Because they had stopped restoring the temple! If we stop restoring the church, God will be angry with us, too! So, the Lord said, “Return to Me and I will return to you” (v.3). Restoring the church begins by believers returning to God!
Zechariah and Haggai are prophets of restoration! Let’s listen to them, along with the other OT prophets, to learn about God’s great plan to restore His church! Let’s not stop because of opposition, but let’s finish the work!

ゼカリヤとハガイは、紀元前538年にバビロンから帰還したユダヤ人たちに預言しました。民は神殿の再建を始めました（エズラ3:8）が、敵の抵抗に遭いました（エズラ4:4）。そこで二人の預言者は、神殿が再建されるまで（エズラ5:1）、民に働きを続けるように動機づけました。これは神が教会を回復するたとえ話です。
ゼカ1:2は、神が前の世代に激しく怒ったと述べています。なぜでしょうか？それは、彼らが神殿の再建をやめたからです。もし私たちが教会の回復をやめたら、神は私たちにも怒るでしょう。そこで主は、「わたしに帰れ。そうすれば、わたしもあなたがたに帰る」（3節）と言われました。教会の回復は、信者が神に帰ることから始まります。
ゼカリヤとハガイは回復の預言者です。旧約聖書の他の預言者たちと共に、彼らの言葉に耳を傾け、神の教会を回復するという偉大な計画について学びましょう。反対されても諦めず、働きをやり遂げましょう！
Devotion 2 of 2: Rev 5
The next heavenly scene has to do with the opening of the sealed scroll (v.1), which symbolizes God’s Word, especially concerning endtimes. No one can loosen its seals except Jesus (v.4-5). Jesus opened the scroll because John wept for it’s opening (v.4) and because of the prayers of the saints (v.8). Let’s pray for revelation!
4 living creatures and 24 elders (v.8) praise Jesus for redeeming them and making them kings and priests who will reign on earth (v.9-10). This means they are overcoming believers, not only 30-fold or 60-fold, but 100-fold. It is to them that the scroll is opened, not to the whole church!
These overcomers come from every nation, tribe and tongue (v.9) and are innumerable (v.11), so they are a heavenly picture of those who will be saved in the LDR (Rev 7:9-14)! Let’s follow Jesus so we can be like them!
デボーション2/2：黙5章
次の天上の光景は、封印された巻物が開かれる場面（1節）に関係しています。この巻き物は神の言葉、特に終末に関する御言葉を象徴しています。イエス以外には、その封印を解ける者はいません（4-5節）。イエスが巻物を開かれたのは、ヨハネがそのために激しく泣いて（4節）、また聖徒たちが祈り求めたからです（8節）。啓示を真剣に求めて祈りましょう！
4つの生き物と24人の長老（8節）は、イエスが彼らを贖い、地上を治める王と祭司にしてくださったことを賛美します（9-10節）。これは、彼らが30倍や60倍ではなく、100倍も勝利する信者たちであることを意味します。巻物は彼らに開かれたのであり、教会全体に開かれたのではありません！
これらの勝利者たちは、あらゆる国民、部族、国語から来ており（9節）、数え切れないほど多い（11節）ので、彼らは終末リバイバルで救われる人々の天上の描写です（黙7:9-14）。私たちもイエスに従い、彼らのようになりましょう。
