Devotion 1 of 2: Obad 1
Obadiah wrote just one chapter. He was a prophet in northern Israel and wrote about God’s judgment against Edom (v.1). Why did God judge Edom? V.3-4 give us the answer.
V.3-4 say, “The pride of your heart has deceived you, you who dwell in the clefts of the rock, whose habitation is high; you who say in your heart, ‘Who will bring me down to the ground?’ Though you ascend as high as the eagle, and though you set your nest among the stars, from there I will bring you down,” says the Lord.
Pride was also in the heart of Lucifer, according to Is 14:12-15, when he said, “I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God…I will be like the Most High.” But God said, “You shall be brought down to Sheol!” This judgment against pride is the same as in Obadiah…”I will bring you down.”
Let’s ask the Lord to always keep us humble!
Devotion 2 of 2: Heb 3
Why didn’t Israel enter the Promised Land? One of the biggest reasons is unbelief (v.12).
This same reason will hinder Christians today from entering our Promised Land, which is the LDR. The LDR will be a great revival in which believers are doing even greater works than Jesus (John 14:12). Church services will have God’s presence in power, and salvations, healings and deliverances will happen every week!
Hundreds, and even thousands of people will flock to attend because God’s glory will be there, and people’s needs will be met.
But many people won’t believe the LDR is possible. They won’t believe it’s God’s will. They’ll call it a hoax or cult or heresy or extreme and say people should avoid it. But let’s not repeat Israel’s mistake of unbelief. Let’s believe God’s Word and join in His revival in the endtime (Rev 7:9-14)!

イスラエルはなぜ約束の地に入れなかったのでしょうか。最も大きな理由の一つは不信仰です（12節）。
同じ理由が、今日のクリスチャンが約束の地、すなわち終末リバイバルに入るのを妨げる可能性があります。終末リバイバルは、信じる人々がイエスよりもさらに大きな業を行うという大リバイバルとなるのです（ヨハネ14:12）。教会の礼拝には神の臨在が力強く働いて、救い、癒し、解放が毎週起こります！
何百人、何千人もの人々が集まります。なぜなら、神の栄光がそこにあり、人々の必要が満たされるからです。
しかし、多くの人々は終末リバイバルが実現可能だと信じないでしょう。神の御心だと信じないでしょう。彼らはそれを偽り、カルト、異端、あるいは過激なものと呼び、人々はそれを避けるべきだと言うでしょう。 しかし、イスラエルの不信仰という過ちを繰り返してはなりません。神の言葉を信じて、終わりの時の神のリバイバルに参加しましょう（黙7:9-14）！
