Devotion 1 of 2: Lam 5
This chapter shows the terrible condition of Judah because of the consequences of their sins (v.7, 16). In v.21 Jeremiah cries out desperately for Israel’s restoration: “Turn us back to You, O Lord, and we will be restored; renew our days as of old…”
Restoration is God’s plan for Israel and the church in the last days. Unless we understand restoration, we will not understand what will happen in the endtime. God is answering Jeremian’s prayer, and He is restoring Israel and the church! Let’s study this important topic so we can cooperate with God at the climax of history!
10/22（水）哀歌5章（デボーション1）
この章は、ユダが罪の結果、どれほどひどい状態に陥っていたかを描いています（7節、16節）。21節でエレミヤはイスラエルの回復を切実に求めて叫びます。「主よ。あなたのみもとに帰らせてください。私たちは帰りたいのです。私たちの日を昔のように新しくしてください。」

Devotion 2 of 2: Jude 1
V.5 says, “But I want to remind you, though you once knew this, that the Lord, having saved the people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed those who did not believe.” This verse is serious! God saved the Jews from Egypt, but destroyed those who did not believe His promise of giving them Canaan!
Endtime application: Israel’s journey is a parable of God restoring the church! Leaving Egypt symbolizes the church being delivered from the Catholic Church through the Protestant Reformation of 1517.
Israel’s journey through the wilderness, following the cloud, is symbolized by the Pentecostal Movement beginning in 1906 in which the power of the Spirit was restored to the church.
And entering the Promised Land, which almost all the Jews failed at, symbolizes the church entering into the Last Day Revival. But many will not believe and not enter! Let’s study the LDR, believe God will do it, and enter it!
