Devotion 1 of 2: 2 Chron 19
King Jehoshaphat had both good and evil in him. The good was removing idols from the land and seeking the Lord (v.3). The evil was helping the wicked King Ahab of northern Israel (v.2). In this sense, he is like many of us, a mixture of good and evil. So we should watch how the rest of his life turns out as a lesson for us.

ヨシャパテ王には善と悪の両方がありました。善とは、国から偶像を取り除き、主を求めたことです（3節）。悪とは、北イスラエルの邪悪な王アハブを助けたことです（2節）。この意味で、彼は私たちの多くと同様に、善と悪が混在する存在です。ですから、彼の残りの人生がどのように展開していくのかを、私たち自身の教訓として見守るべきです。

Devotion 2 of 2: 2 Chron 20
This great chapter teaches the power of praise in spiritual warfare. The people of Ammon, Moab and Mt. Seir combined to fight Judah (v.1, 10). After seeking God (v.3-4), and God promising them victory (v.14-17), Jehoshaphat sent the worshipers before the army to the battle (v.21)! God responded by causing the enemy to fight and kill each other (v.22-23)! In our battles, let’s first worship God! This is a great key to victory!

2歴20章：自由な分かち合い！
この素晴らしい章は、霊的な戦いにおける賛美の力について教えています。アンモン、モアブ、セイル山の民はユダと戦うため、連合しました（1節、10節）。神を求めた結果（3-4節）、主が勝利を約束されたので（14-17節）、ヨシャパテは賛美隊を軍隊の前に送り、戦いに臨ませました（21節）。神は答えて、敵が互いに殺し合うように仕向けました（22-23節）。私たちの戦いにおいては、まず神を賛美しましょう。これが勝利への大きな鍵です。
