Devotion 1 of 2: Ezek 34
This chapter is a prophecy of rebuke against the bad shepherds of Israel (v.2). Shepherds apply today especially to pastors and leaders in the church. It can also apply to believers as all Christians are called to lead unbelievers to Christ and encourage them to grow in their faith.
One failure of the bad shepherds was that they fed themselves but didn’t feed their flocks (v.2). Furthermore, they did not strengthen the weak nor heal the sick nor bind up the broken nor bring back what was driven away nor seek the lost, but instead, they ruled over the sheep with force and cruelty (v.4).
As a pastor, if I have done so, I want to repent of studying the Bible just to feed myself or trying to control believers by force. And I vow to teach the Word so that people are strengthened, healed, bandaged up, restored and saved.

この章は、イスラエルの悪い牧者たちに対する叱責の預言です（2節）。牧者とは、今日、特に教会の牧師や指導者に当てはまります。また、すべてのクリスチャンは未信者をキリストに導き、霊的成長を励ますように召されているので、信者にも当てはまるのです。
悪い牧者たちの失敗の一つは、自分自身を肥やす一方で、群れを養わなかったことです（2節）。さらに、彼らは弱い者を強めたり、病人を癒したり、傷ついた者を包んだり、迷い出た者を連れ戻したり、失われた者を捜したりしないいで、むしろ力ずくと暴力で羊を支配してしまったのです（4節）。
牧師として、私は自分の糧を得るためだけに聖書を学んだり、そして信者たちを力ずくで支配しようとしたりしたことがあれば、それを悔い改めたいと思います。そして、人々が強められ、癒され、包まれ、回復し、救われるように、御言葉を教えることを誓います。
Devotion 2 of 2: 1 Cor 6
In this chapter, Paul deals with 2 more problems in the Corinth Church: believers suing each other in courts (v.1-11) and believers being sexually immoral, especially by having physical relationship with harlots (v.12-20).
Concerning suing, Paul said we will judge the world and angels (v.2-3). Yes, the LDC will judge evil through words of judgment or by releasing plagues (Rev 11:5-6), and also, overcomers will rule the earth with Christ during the Millennium (Rev 5:10). So that’s why we should judge our own cases and not depend on courts of the world!
Concerning immorality, it seems like prostitution was so common in Corinth that even believers were doing it, so Paul had to teach the church some basic moral principles. We need this teaching in modern Japan, too!

この章でパウロは、コリント教会におけるさらに二つの問題について論じています。一つは、信者同士が法廷で訴訟を起こすこと（1-11節）、もう一つは、信者が性的に不道徳な行為、特に遊女と肉体関係を持つこと（12-20節）です。
訴訟に関して、パウロは「私たちは世界と御使いたちを裁く」（2-3節）と述べています。そうです、終末教会は、裁きの言葉や災いを解き放つことによって悪を裁きます（黙11:5-6）。そしてもう一つは、勝利者たちが千年王国においてキリストと共に地を支配することです（黙5:10）。だからこそ、私たちは自らの裁きによって判断すべきであり、世の法廷に頼るべきではないのです。
不道徳に関して言えば、コリントでは売春があまりにも一般的で、信者でさえ行っていたようです。そのため、パウロは教会に基本的な道徳原則を教えなければなりませんでした。現代の日本にも、この教えが必要です。
