Devotion 1 of 2: Ezek 33

This chapter has a profound message for those living in the endtime. It talks about the watchman, his people and a sword or enemy approaching. It has several applications, but the application to the endtime is this. The watchman is the believer. His people are other believers, and the sword or enemy is AC.
If we realize the church will face AC, we can keep quiet or warn Christians. If we don’t warn believers, and they stumble and leave the faith because they weren’t prepared to face AC, their blood will be on our hands. So, we must warn them! If we do, and they overcome AC’s threats without compromising, we have saved their lives!
But if they don’t believe our warning, and when AC persecutes them, they apostacize by taking his mark or worshiping his image, they will die spiritually, and their blood will be on their own hands! Let’s warn other believers of AC!

Devotion 2 of 2: 1 Cor 5

This chapter deals with the scandalous problem of a man having an immoral relationship with his mother-in-law (v.1). Instead of getting angry or mourning this event, the Corinth Church was puffed up about it (v.2)! They even gloried in it (v.6)! Why? Because they thought they were showing love by forgiving the man!
So, Paul rebukes Corinth for 2 reasons. 1st, he tells them they must try to save the man by delivering him to Satan (kick him out of the covering of the church) (v.5)! This is so that he will suffer from Satan’s attacks, learn his lesson and repent of his sin, similar to what happened to the prodigal son (Luke 15:11-24)!
The 2nd reason is if they leave him in the church, like they were doing, it’ll affect other believers, and the whole church will become immoral (v.6). Let’s ask God to teach us how to love and correct at the same time!
