Devotion 1 of 2: Acts 27
Two things Paul did to help the people on his boat were: 1) In v.9-10, he warned them not to sail because a disaster would happen and the cargo would be lost, but his warning was ignored. 2) In v.21-26, after 3 days of a fierce storm when all hope of being saved was lost (v.14-19), he encouraged the people by saying no life would be lost and predicting they would run aground on an island (v.26), which all came to pass!

Devotion 2 of 2: Lev 27
I don’t believe God or the Bible are partial against females because God created both man and woman “in the image of God” in Gen. 1:27 and gave them both authority to rule over the earth in Gen. 1:28. But I believe through the Fall, women came to be ruled over by man (Gen. 3:16, “he will rule over you”). So societies have been partial against females and valued females less than males, and the Bible incorporated that until the Cross, when Jesus “redeemed us from the curse” (Gal. 3:13) and restored women to be equal in value to men, as Gal. 3:28 says, in Christ “there is neither male nor female.”
