Devotion 1 of 2: Gen 27
It was both right and wrong. The right part was that he wanted to receive the firstborn blessing that he had already bought from Esau for a meal. But it seems like Esau didn’t want to go through with the deal, so Jacob deceived his father, Isaac, to receive the firstborn blessing from him. So I think that was the wrong part. It would have been better to do it without deception. But, of course, we don’t know if that was possible or not.

Devotion 2 of 2: Gen 28
In v.11, at Bethel, Jacob took a stone, put his head on it and slept. Later in v.18, he sets the stone up as a pillar and pours oil upon it. I believe this stone symbolizes Jesus, the chief Cornerstone, Foundation and Pillar of the church (Eph 2:19-22). He also was anointed by the oil of the Holy Spirit to do mighty exploits to save, heal and deliver people.
