Devotion 1 of 1: Ps 13
This is another psalm that David wrote when he was being sorely tested. He felt like God had forgotten him (v.1)! But in the end, he makes a faith confession and praises God by faith for his salvation (v.5-6).
When we are in a trial and feel like we’ve been abandoned, let us also make a faith confession of victory and offer the sacrifice of praise for God’s deliverance!
PS 14: Free sharing!
This psalm was quoted in Rom 3 to point out that sin is in every human being, and therefore, we all need a Savior. Unless man realizes this fact, he will not seek God.
When we share the gospel, let us never neglect to present this important point, but with wisdom and tact, so we don’t turn away people who are not used to thinking of themselves as sinners, like the Japanese people.
