Devotion 1 of 1: Ps 11
V.3 says, “If the foundations are destroyed, what can the righteous do?” Many nations are ruled by dictators and politicians who don’t follow the law. They rule for themselves and not for their countrymen. This is why millions of people are fleeing from their nations and trying to immigrate to other countries where the law is respected.
Let’s always pray for our national leaders to follow the law and not become corrupt.
PS 12: Free sharing!
This psalm points out the danger of the tongue that speaks proud things, flattering words, idle speech, double talk, etc. (v.2-3). These people think that with their tongue they will prevail, and that no one is lord over them (v.4).
These Scriptures apply to our generation as this is the age of deception, lies, mis- and dis-information, scams, etc. Let’s always seek God to give us discernment so we will not be deceived and be ready for AC when he appears!
