Devotion 1 of 2: Num 7
This chapter is about the offerings of the leaders of Israel upon completion of the tabernacle. V.2-3 say that the leaders made an offering of an ox and half a cart each. The ox was the biggest and most valuable livestock, so it was a precious offering.
We are all called to lead people to Christ, so we are all NT leaders. We have an opportunity to give offerings every Sunday. Praise God that so many precious SI members are giving valuable offerings to God! May he bless every one in every part of their life.

Devotion 2 of 2: Num 8
NUM 8: Answers! (2/2)
1) The light from the lampstand filled the Holy Place so the priests could see and fulfill their ministry there. Spiritually speaking, this means we should be walking in the Spirit as we serve God in and out of church so that our ministry is effective and bears fruit.
2) If the Levites didn’t fulfill their ministry, a plague would hit Israel when they approached the tabernacle (v.19). Today, it means that if we, as NT priests, aren’t fulfilling our ministry in and out of the church, submitting to the Holy Spirit and serving with purity, people will not be blessed when they come to church, but a plague of spiritual blindness, unbelief and lack of hunger will occur in them!
