Devotion 1 of 2: Lev 11
This chapter is God’s instructions on clean and unclean foods. This is timely because we just read yesterday about God telling Peter to eat unclean animals!
We can apply this to the information, emotion, etc., that we take into our minds and hearts. There are healthy and unhealthy information and emotions all around us that are trying to get into our minds! Let’s be on guard to not let unhealthy thoughts come in but only edifying ones!

Devotion 2 of 2: Acts 11
(2/2)
We see the rapid progress of the church in accepting Gentiles. 1st, Philip preached to Samaritans (8:5-8). Then he led the Ethiopian eunuch to Jesus (8:26-39). Next, Peter takes the gospel to Cornelius and his Gentile friends and wins them to Christ (10:17-48). Finally, in this chapter, in Antioch, many Hellenists (Greeks) believed and added to the church (v.20-21)!
So the disciples are slowly being transformed from a Jew-only to all-the-world mentality! They are slowly understanding God’s plan for this age! The final climax of this change will be Acts 15. Let’s ask the Lord to help us understand his plan for our generation, too!
