Devotion 1 of 2: Gen 7
Noah knew when the flood would come. God told him in 7 days it would happen (v.4). The people didn’t know but Noah did! Matt 24:36-39 says that no one knows that day or hour but only the Father! The coming of Jesus will be like in Noah’s day. The people were eating and drinking, etc., and didn’t know until the flood came and took them away. So the Scripture about “no one knows” applies only to the people because Noah did know because God told him!
So the Noah Church, the LDC, will know when Jesus’ coming for the rapture will be because God will tell them before it happens! The ones who don’t know are the people in the world or the lukewarm church! Let’s seek to understand endtime prophecy and God’s plan for the last days so we will walk as children of light and be used to bring millions into the ark of salvation!

Devotion 2 of 2: Gen 8
1) The raven can symbolize Satan. The devil was released (expelled) from heaven and came to earth (Rev 12:7-9). By deceiving Adam and Eve to sin, he took over the world (2 Cor 4:4) and has spread evil globally. As the raven fed and could live on dead flesh, so Satan thrives where sin abounds and has continued to inhabit the earth.
2) 1st time: Dove came back (v.8-9). During the OT time, the Holy Spirit could work on the earth but could not abide permanently in anyone.
2nd time: Dove came back with an olive leaf in its mouth (v.10-11). The olive leaf symbolizes Jesus. The Holy Spirit was poured out upon him and abode in and worked through him (Matt 3:16-17).
3rd time: Dove did not return (v.12). In the NT era, the Holy Spirit has been poured out and remains on the earth, abiding in and working through those who have been born again and also filled with the Spirit (Acts 2:1-4, 16-17). Let’s seek for the fullness of the Spirit to work in and through us to bring healing, deliverance and hope to a sick and dying world!
