Devotion 1 of 2: Mal 4

There’s a great need for the ministry of Elijah in the endtime to turn the hearts of parents to their children and vice versa (v.5-6)! I believe one of the reasons for the large increase of people mixed up about their sexual orientation and preference (the LGBTQ phenomenon) is because while their brains and sexual identity, etc., were being formed in them while they were in their mother’s womb or when they were developing as young children, they did not receive the care or love or affirmation that was needed for them to develop a healthy self-identity.

For example, I heard of a child who was not wanted during her mother’s pregnancy. As the child grew up, she had a tendency to dress and act like a boy. I believe she sensed her mother’s rejection of her while she was in the womb, and unconsciously she was compensating by acting like a boy to overcome that feeling of rejection! Let’s pray that the power and spirit of Elijah will work in today’s church to bring healing and deliverance to millions caught in the web of gender identity confusion!

Devotion 2 of 2: Rev 22

1) We see God’s plan of restoration completed in this chapter. In v.1, the river of life, which was also in Eden (Gen 2:10), is restored.
2) In v.2, the tree of life, which was in Eden but was cut off from mankind (Gen 2:9, 3:24), is restored.
