Devotion 1 of 2: Rev 1
2000 years ago, John wrote in v.3, “Blessed is he who reads…the words of this prophecy, and keeps those things which are written in it; for the time is near.” If the time was near in John’s day, it is much, much, much nearer today! So we need to read and keep what is written in it! But in order to keep it, we must understand it! Let’s believe God will give us revelation and understanding as we read this book!

Devotion 2 of 2: Zeph 2
This Scripture fits amazingly accurately to what is happening today in the Gaza Strip! Gaza is forsaken (v.4); woe to the inhabitants; land of the Philistines (the word ‘Palestine’ comes from ‘Philistine’); I will destroy you; there shall be no inhabitant (v.5)! Because of Hamas’ unprecedented brutal attack on Israel on 10/7, Israel has bombed and destroyed much of Gaza! It looks like a forsaken wasteland! Let’s pray for Israel and the Palestinians to be saved through Christ and be delivered from hate!
