Devotion 1 of 2: 1 Cor 13
1) Love believes all things. After I received the baptism of the Holy Spirit, I felt called to preach the gospel. The pastor of the charismatic church I was going to showed love by believing in me. Through his encouragement, I stepped out in faith, went to Texas to study the Bible and eventually came to Japan as a missionary.
2) Love endures all things. Because of dementia, Yoshiko does unusual things, like putting shoes on the dining table. At first, I got irritated and often scolded her. But that only made things worse, so slowly I learned to endure, and now instead of scolding Yoshiko, I solve the problem myself. Now I move all shoes from the shoe rack to the shoe closet and keep the door closed. Now there are no shoes on the rack so Yoshiko doesn’t put shoes on the dining table anymore!

Devotion 2 of 2: Ezek 41
V.1-4 describe the Most Holy Place of Ezekiel’s temple. God is restoring the church in 3 major steps, from the Outer Court to the Holy Place to the Most Holy Place (MHP). The MHP of Moses’ Tabernacle was where the presence and glory of God was revealed. The next major revival will bring the church into the MHP, and will fill the church with so much of God’s presence and glory that thousands of people will be drawn to Jesus and get saved! This LDC will preach the gospel to all the world and bring forth a revival in every nation, including Japan!
