Devotion 1 of 2: Job 28
Job talks about the value of wisdom and understanding and how hard it is to find them because that’s what he was searching for—he wanted to understand why such a terrible, painful trial was happening to him—but he couldn’t find the answer (v.21)! He also knew that God knew the answer, but so far God hadn’t told him (v.23)!

Devotion 2 of 2: Matt 28
One piece of evidence that backs up the resurrection as a fact and not a lie is that many people, like Mary Magdalene and the other Mary saw the resurrected Jesus (v.9). In fact, 1 Cor. 15:6 says that Jesus appeared to over 500 believers after His resurrection. All of them testified that they saw the resurrected Christ, and despite being persecuted and even killed for their testimony, there is no record of a single disciple recanting his testimony! If they were lying, undoubtedly many would recant upon threat of death!
