Devotion 1 of 2: 1 Kings 3
This chapter shows one of the highlights of Solomon’s career when the Lord asked him to make a wish, and he asked for wisdom to govern Israel (v.5-9). God granted the request, resulting in Solomon becoming one of the wisest men in history! This story shows that when we place God 1st, others 2nd and ourselves 3rd, our lives please God, and he will bless us with prosperity, victory and long life (v.11-14)!
