Devotion 1 of 2: 2 Pet 2

1) Marrying daughters of man and producing Nephilim (Gen 6:1-4).
2) One reason that Sodom and Gomorrah were destroyed (v.6) was because their inhabitants violated the natural laws of male-female copulation and adopted homosexual copulation as a norm (Gen 19:4-26). This is similar to mankind being destroyed in Noah’s flood because women and evil spirits violated their natural boundaries and copulated (v.4) and produced hybrids called Nephilim, who were partly responsible for the violence of that day (Gen 6:1-7, 11-13).

In applying this to the endtime, we see the LGBT Movement spreading around the world. This will be one of the reasons for the end of this world age to come.

Devotion 2 of 2: Jer 51

Jeremiah prophesies that God will use the king of the Medes to destroy Babylon in vengeance for (destroying) his temple (v.11). And v.5 says that God has not forsaken Israel and Judah and that Babylon is full of guilt. So God used Babylon to destroy Judah for all of her sins of idolatry, immorality, children sacrifice, etc. But now God will use the Medes (and Persians) to punish Babylon for her sins, some of which were committed against Israel and Judah. In applying this to the endtime, we realize that after God uses AC to persecute the church to cleanse her, he will destroy AC at the 2nd coming of Christ and the battle of Armageddon (Rev 19:19-21).
