One example that shows why Zophar is not a good counselor is v.28 because he says God is angry at Job and will judge him by sending a flood to destroy his house! This was completely wrong as God thought Job was the most blameless and upright man on earth (1:8)! We should never use God to carry out judgments that we think people deserve! God’s thinking is usually different from ours!

I think the workers were wrong in their complaint against the landowner because he paid them what he promised them! When he gave other workers who worked less the same pay as them, he did it out of grace and generosity! This is a lesson in grace and also Jews vs. Gentiles. When we are bound in legalism, it’s hard for us to accept grace! Also, the Jews, who served God for thousands of years and had salvation, could not accept that Gentiles could also have salvation.
