Devotion 1 of 2: 1 Sam 5
The presence of God revealed through the Ark caused the idol of the Philistines’ god, Dagon, to fall twice and be broken up (v.3-4), and also caused a plague of tumors upon the Philistines (v.6)! This shows our God has authority over our enemies and their gods! This is important for us to believe when antichrist persecutes us and tries to force us to worship his image and take his mark! Let’s believe that harm will come upon those who try to harm us rather than on us!

契約の箱を通して現された神の臨在は、ペリシテ人の神、ダゴンの偶像を二度倒し、壊し（3-4節）、またペリシテ人に腫物の災いを引き起こしました（6節）! これは、私たちの神が敵やその神々に対して権威を持っておられることを示しています。このことは、反キリストが私たちを迫害し、自分の像を拝ませ、自分の刻印を受けさせようとする時に、私たちが信じるべき重要なことです。私たちではなく、むしろ、私たちに害を加えようとする者の上に、害が及ぶと信じましょう。
Devotion 2 of 2: 1 Sam 6
1) The people of Beth Shemesh knew only little about the Ark. They offered a sacrifice to God for the Ark’s return (v.14), which seemed acceptable because nothing bad happened. But their ignorance manifested in v.19 when they looked into the Ark, and 50,070 were killed!
2) This shows the church must learn about God’s presence and RR Vision, or we will not be able to handle God’s presence and authority in the right way when it is restored!
3) Beth Shemesh finally got rid of the Ark by asking Kirjath Jearim to take it away! They couldn’t handle God’s Ark (presence, authority, power), so they lost it! The old wineskin cannot contain the new wine! The wineskin must change to a new wineskin! Lord, transform us into a new wineskin that understands your presence and authority so we can receive it and use it to spark the LDR and win millions of souls in Japan!

3) ベト・シェメシュは、キルヤト・エアリムに頼んで、ついに主の箱を引き取ってもらいました! 彼らは神の箱(臨在、権威、力)を扱うことができなかったので、それを失ってしまったのです! 古い皮袋は、新しいぶどう酒を保つことができません! 皮袋は、新しい皮袋に変わらなければなりません。主よ、私たちをあなたの臨在と権威を理解する新しい皮袋に変えてください！そうすれば、私たちはLDRを引き起こし、日本で何百万人もの魂を救いに導きます！
