Devotion 1 of 3: Ps 1
For our Wed, 12/28 devotions, let's freely share what God speaks to us from Ps 119:65-96 and Rev 19. For those who want to, for Rev 19, you may instead choose to answer 1 or more of these questions. 1) What will happen to the church between being raptured and coming together with Christ at his 2nd coming to the earth (v.14)? 2) What characteristics about Christ (v.11-12) at his 2nd coming provide possible connections to which one of the 4 riders in Rev 6? 3) V.15 gives a link to which feast of Israel, and what lesson can we learn from this link? 4) What will happen to antichrist and the false prophet?

Devotion 2 of 3: Ps 119
In v.71, David confesses that affliction was good because it caused him to learn God’s decrees or word. Although afflictions are not pleasant, they are beneficial because through them, we learn God’s word! I want to confess this when I go through afflictions!
Devotion 3 of 3: Rev 19
1) The church will marry Jesus at the wedding supper of the Lamb (v.9).
2) Christ will ride a white horse and have crowns on his head (v.11-12). This matches the 1st rider on a white horse with a crown (Rev 6:2).
3) V.15 says Jesus will tread the winepress of the wrath of God. This alludes to the winepress that was used in Israel’s Feast of Tabernacles, which celebrated the grape harvest. This indicates that Christ’s 2nd coming will be the spiritual fulfillment of the Feast of Tabernacles, completing the fulfillment of all 3 major feasts of Israel during the entire history of the church (Passover = Cross, Pentecost = Acts 2, Tabernacles = Christ’s 2nd coming).
4) Antichrist and the false prophet will be captured and thrown into the fiery lake of burning sulfur (v.20).
